Ho Hum is interesting because it is on the shore side of the roa and it is located on the grounds of the former base where troops trained for the D-day invasion landings.

This part of Florida has had its share of hurricanes as of late. On our first trip through this area we passed through towns that were forever changed by hurricane Michael in 2018 5 days before it hit.

Also close by is Perry, Florida. Perry was hit hard last year and was also hit by a hurricane earlier this year. Perry is the home of Pelicamp - the base camp of Traveling Robert.
