Not quite the west side, not exactly the crossroads...

As I had to get ready for the Gate Crashers Ball that evening, Ken and I could not wander too far.  We chose to walk in an area that is often passed through and missed by many.  Our target for the day is a mid century building that seems to be endangered.  There is much evidence of vagrants hanging out on the grounds and deterioration of the structure.  It is a shame because this building in the heart of it's neighborhood is a great example of mid-century architecture and needs preservation.

The ever patient Tima, our partner in our many adventures...

The overpass looking southwest into the West end district of Kansas city, which some have nicknamed "Little Mexico."  The food, flavor and culture of this are is great.  You know the food will be good in a place if their is a language barrier and the restaurant is mostly locals.
