This is our annual tradition of visiting Lawrence in December before Christmas to get us in the Christmas mood. There is something about Lawrence, Kansas that does it for us. I think it is the well preserved downtown that is not dead and depressing. Everytime we come here we have to struggle to find parking, especially in December. It is a great problem for a small town to have. Big box shopping just does not compare.
