20240304 Monday The Night Shift:  A scary apartment fire in Kansas City north east side started off the evening right off the bat. One person was sent to the hospital and two others were asked to go to the hospital but denied. We are live at a fire station on independence Avenue station number 23. I have cawfee at Café Ca Phe.

Heard on scanner a woman was shot in the shoulder.

The Flat Tire

I ran over something on the highway 

I noticed a ticking sound.  When I got into the QT parking lot, the tire pressure light came on.

I picked a good spot to have a flat.  I could’ve been on the side of the road somewhere.

Wrong way driver on Broadway nearly collides head on with me.  I couldn’t get over because there was a car in the right hand lane blocking me.  I noticed the wrong way driver didn’t even slow down while I did my best to come to a stop.  I’m beginning to think I need to take the day off every year!
I nearly got run over in 2022…
