Philippines 2010 Day 10 -- Halloween

Halloween, as we celebrate it in the states, is not the way it is celebrated in the Philippines.  I found their observance of All Souls Day, and All Saints Day fascinating as it differed from our lack of celebration of the true holiday.  So today, all hallows eve, was not a big day, except that everybody is readying themselves for the celebration in the cemeteries by fixing food and welcoming family members.  November 1st through the 3rd are the big days.

After attending church and spending time with the family, we came back to the resort to find the disco going at full tilt.  It was impossible to sleep with the music pounding the room, so we went down to the cafe, then observed the mostly teenagers dancing on the beach.
I'm not really toasted, just tired.  But that is a HUGE ASSED beer!
