20230619 Monday The Night Shift -- I attract the wrong kind of attention while eating lunch downtown. We are tired from our Columbia trip. 20230619 Corner Café - After visiting the dentist, we didn't feel like cooking so we eat out at Corner Cafe in Riverside. 20230620 Tuesday The Night Shift It is an unbelievably busy day! There is a house fire that is called out as an abandoned building bit turns out to be occupied with one resident being rescued along with his two dogs. Two others have walked out of the house. Steetcar construction work is taking place between 51st and 34th on Main. While we are live in Westport a major crash takes place at I-35 and 670 involving a cement truck. Phew! 20230621 Wednesday The Night Shift -- A crash is called in as a shooting but it is not. I enjoy the morning at our live shot downtown. 20230622 Thursday The Night Shift - I come up on a non-life threatening shooting. I need tea for my upset stomach in the morning. 20230623 Friday The Night Shift - A robbery, chase, shootout with the cops, a manhunt in Prairie Village ends up with a huge chase in rural northern Missouri with the perp in hand cuffs. During all of this there is also a homicide at 43rd and Agnes. 20230624 The Kansas City Vlog_ Saturday -- Costco Day! Saturday has become a day of errands. 20230625 The Kansas City Vlog_ Sunday -- Sundays are our busy days as we have 3 kids serving while the Choir is on hiatus for the summer. We have hot drinks at Cafe Ca Phe and brunch at Vietnam Cafe. There is dance practice and finally, Retail Rebel.

20230612 Monday The Night Shift - A Homicide at Eastwood Commons Apartment starts off the week. We are live at Kauffman stadium with the schtuff I shot Friday. I have green tea and make calls on the Navion. I talk about Navion Issues 20230613 Tuesday The Night Shift - railZen at Union Station. A business burglary in Shawnee leads to a big police perimeter. I have tea at Westport Coffeehouse. 20230614 Wednesday The Night Shift -I have an uneventful night. I have tea at Cafe Ca Phe to settle my stomach. 20230615 Thursday The Night Shift - I go to another shooting call that turns out to be nothing. There is a stand off in Prairie Village, then a bad accident at Shawnee Mission Parkway and Antioch. We are Live at Johnson County Community College talking about an all girl soccer league. 20230615 Navion Headliner - I get really frustrated working on the headliner in the Navion. We eventually come up with a working solution. 20230616 Friday The Night Shift - We are in the east bottoms of KC at a huge warehouse fire. I notice that the building used to be a part of Campbells 66 Express. 20230616 To Columbia - We make it to Columbia, Missouri for our weekend trip in the Navion at Cottonwoods RV Park. 20230617 Saturday in Columbia, Missouri - We walk the dogs in the RV park and the kids do some swimming. We do a little exploring and shopping in downtown Columbia. We then have a cook out at our RV. 20230618 The Columbia Vlog_ Sunday. We go back into town and have Shakespeare's Pizza. A good place to listen to the scanner and take a respite from driving around all night is the railfanning hotspot of Union Station. 20230606 Tuesday The Night Shift - I am first sent to a cold shooting scene In Kansas City, Kansas. Our lives shots are at Loose Park on the summer learning slide. I try out Renegade Coffee on North Oak. 20230607 Wednesday The Night Shift - A quiet night goes to hell in the Morning with two shootings within one minute of each other. The first one is a teenager on the city’s east side. A second Homicide one minute later is a woman who is shot in her car on I-70’s south loop. 20230608 Thursday The Night Shift - we did a 2 camera shoot during our live shot using the Atomos Ninja. 20230609 Friday The Night Shift - Impromptu tour of the former village of Harlem, now a Kansas City neighborhood. 20230515 Monday The Night Shift - Slow night picked up by morning. Abandoned house fire on 39TH and Wabash and a police officer injured in pursuit of a suspect is the fate of the early morning. Weather is cool and drizzly which is perfect for a hot drink. 20230516 Tuesday The Night Shift - Cawfee and cool drizzly weather 20230517 Wednesday - The Night Shift - Live at KCI in the Storm Tracker. We had stormy weather which led to a flight from Chicago being delayed on the tarmac. The first step is changing out the tires. I do not trust the tires we put on in an emergency in 2019. Today is the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) picnic at Columbus Park. I showed up late as I am taking care of the Navion. Everything is fine with the Navion except it didn't want to shift into 4th gear after I left the truck stop. I pulled over and turned it off, then I hand shifted it. After stopping a second time in North Kansas City, It shifted fine. 20230521 The Kansas City Vlog-Sunday -- Costco and Philippine Dance.
