Today we went on an outing to the south part of Cebu Province. We visited a tourist area and natural wonder spot known as Kawasan Falls.

Elections are held at the public schools, and are a big event with last minute campaigning. The news media later on that evening talked up the violence, but we didn't see any of that, for the most part, it seemed like a peaceful process

Jollibee is a filipino owned fast food chain. It is their version of McDonalds, and is very popular. I was starting to feel under the weather, so fast food was not the best choice. Let's just say that Jollibee was not so jolly to me.

As you travel around, you notice subtle differences in the designs of the popular forms of transportation

Every once in a while, you happen upon an older style of architecture that reminds you of the magnificence of the Filipino style

Usually, however, the streets look like this

People are everywhere and they need to get around

When you pass from one side of Cebu province to the other, you will come upon the rural mountain roads, and their switchbacks

Even in the country, any form of transport is usually overused and overloaded

After the noise and chaos of the roads, we visit beautiful, serene, and relatively quiet crystal clear Kawasan falls.
