20231024 Tuesday The Night Shift - Catrina, our cat passed away Monday- essentially of old age.  I continue ghost hunting in thaw loose park area on my way to getting my TVU.  The Battle of Westport ended 159 years ago with a conclusive confederate defeat.

20231020 Friday The Night Shift - I nearly run over someone on a bike on my way to a live shot.  He was riding his bike in pitch black darkness on US 40 in the middle of a lane with no lights or reflective markers wearing dark clothing.  What saved is was the car’s onboard radar technology that slowed the car down.  After brekkus at Town Topic I thank my lucky stars that I was using the radar equipped cruise control.

20231019 Thursday The Night Shift - Live for an arraignment.  A suspect is apprehended in Roeland Park.  The battle of Westport anniversary is this weekend.  It is time to go ghost hunting.  Cawfee is at the Rochester in the Crossroads.

We are signed up for an art class at Pinot’s Pallet.

20231018 Wednesday The Night Shift and Kansas City Vlog

To start off, there is a huge bump in the road near 87th and Blue River I think the city needs to look into.  I have to check my car for damage.

I heard a fire call on the scanner app for a second story apartment Fire in Raytown.

Fortunately no pets or humans were harmed.  Unfortunately, the apartment residents were put out by the fire.

We are live at the Summit Overpass with glorious views of the downtown skyline talking about soccer.

We have an appointment in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.  In between appointments we have enoug time to visit some downtown boutique stores and a thrift shop.
