Suyen’s niece got a job in West Plains at a hospital.  It is very common for rural hospitals to hire foreign overseas skilled workers through agencies.  There has been a shortage of workers for these kind of jobs for many years.  Filipinos commonly work in the medical professions and happily fill the gap.  We drove down to visit her in her new home.  It also gave us a chance to explore West Plains.
