Suyen’s niece got a job in West Plains at a hospital.  It is very common for rural hospitals to hire foreign overseas skilled workers through agencies.  There has been a shortage of workers for these kind of jobs for many years.  Filipinos commonly work in the medical professions and happily fill the gap.  We drove down to visit her in her new home.  It also gave us a chance to explore West Plains.

We go visit Aldi’s to get some things for our brekkus “truck stop.”  It is nice to know that everything Vanessa needs is within walking distance as she does not drive.  Small town America can be good that way.  On our way home we stop to take pictures near Osceola taking advantage of the golden hour and the Truman Reservoir background,
