20240617 to 20240623 The Kansas City Vlog Boorish Slice of Life

20240617 Monday The Night Shift - I go to a shooting at 3500 Linwood and a housefire at British Avenue in Lee Summit. I am on bump back shots this morning. I have coffee at Café Café.

After an uneventful night shift, we are live at Kaufman Stadium, talking about the possible moving of the sports teams to Kansas. I try a new coffee place on Gilliam Road and 31st St. It is called prefix coffee. The weather is somewhat mild today, so I take the dogs out to Barkville dog park in Parkville Missouri.

We are live at Riverside red X.  Today is opening day for firework stands. Red X and Riverside have an interesting history.  The old red X has been torn down and they have a new one which is more like a grocery store. I have coffee at Café Corazon. The weather is really warm, but the skies are very beautiful.

We are live at the Mattie Rhodes center where they are having a tamale festival on Saturday. I have brekkus at town topic. Today I am working a 2 to 10 shift. As I am heading home some pop-up rain showers kind of make an effort to cool this hot day.

20240622 The Kansas City Vlog:  Saturday
I have a shoot today. It is at the American restaurant in Crown Center. The American restaurant is not easy to get to as far as I can see. First, I have cawfeeee.  I was so busy trying to get from the wrong parking garage where I parked under the crown center shops and the hotel to the restaurant. The shoot seems to have gone fine. It is a 60th wedding anniversary, which is an amazing accomplishment. I get video of the track back and what I had to go through to get to the restaurant.
