I couldn't stop so I had to rely on the dashcam. I wish I could have gotten out and got some good stills, but sometimes you have to do other things.
Independence Missouri Downtown Square
The storm had gone to the east after giving us some spectacular skies. The weather was beautiful before the storm, but after, it started heating up and getting very humid. I had a brief respite, so I got some pix downtown Indpendence.
Afternoon Severe Weather
A nice line of severe thunderstorms blew through the Kansas City area about mid-afternoon. I got the still camera out and got some pix and video.
