Strange coincidence that we meet our bridesmaid on our 9th anniversary. Samantha was attending the grand opening of Hotel in the Power and Light District, Kansas City, Missouri.
Tima is enjoying a nice roll in some tall grass on a beautiful spring day.
I will always remember this! I got to go up to the top of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for the ringing of the bell to start Kansas City's St. Patricks Day parade. The bell is only rung once a year for this event. Before that it had been silent for more than 20 years.
A googie toy. We were at the collectors toy appraisal event at the Crown Lodge Convention Center in Lenexa. I found this toy from the late 50's/early 60's to be interesting.
Downtown Spring Hill, Kansas on what turned out to be the first of many rainy days in the area. The rain started the afternoon of Monday, and went almost constantly until Thursday morning, where it quit for a bit, then started again in the afternoon and evening. Friday promised to be better, but the afternoon dumped on us some more before the slow moving storm system finally moved out of the area.
We stopped in at Wolfe-es restaurant in KCK for lunch on a soggy Tuesday evening.
I got the opportunity to say hi to my favorite barista, Sarah, and order my douchebag drink on a drippy Wednesday. The rain was starting to let up a little.
Tima looking in at Dr. Tague's in Leawood.
Ahhhh Kawfeeeee... to perk you up on a cool wet afternoon sitting out front of Parkville Coffeehouse, Parkville, Missouri.
