January Dashcam Timelapse -- Check this discussion on YouTube

January 2013 Dashcam Timelapse

http://thisiswhatloveinactionlookslike.blogspot.com/
You can see Bob in the background holding up the big pink banner.

About six and a half years ago, I loaned a video camera to my friend, Bob Cutler, who took it to Memphis, Tennessee to protest the Love in Action ministry.  Love in Action tries to 'cure' gay people of homosexuality through faith and prayer and conseling.   Here is the video of that protest...

This is What Love In Action Looks Like by John Morgan Fox.  Also, John Smid, the founder of Love in Action, has a website ....  GraceRivers.com

So what follows is the active discussion taking place on YouTube...

  • i dont believe in heaven or hell but if hell did exsist then "Love in Action" is hell on earth!

Just because you dont beleave in something dosent make it not true. I can say i dont beleave in trucks but if I walk out in front of one and get hit its going to kill me.
     ·  in reply to Yatsuhiko
  • Yatsuhiko
There is proof that trucks exist. Dont lump trucks and fairytales together. Religion only exists in the minds of people.
Also, most people who are against homosexuality like to focus on all the negative aspects of an individual homosexuals life, and in that bias, greatly exhadurate details and misplace crucial context. I'm not claiming to know you, I'm just saying everyone I've herd of who is against gays jump to conclusions and see what they want to see in order to affirm their bias.

To say there is no GOD is to close your eyes to truth so you can create your own right and wrong without conseqences. But all law ,your heart, and mind tells everyone there is no action without conseqences good or bad.

You don't need religion to be raised on good morals. I do good onto others and treat deserving people with love because I want to. Religious people do the same (theoretically) out of fear and promise of "paradise"
That's not being good, that's pretending to be good so you'll get stuff for it.
You could compare it to some one returning a lost dog and walking away from the reward money, vs someone returning a lost dog and demanding money for it.

NO You are wrong I Live for GOD rather I get something or not the life he gave us all was already enough. You coundnt be more wrong on GOD and religion.
     ·  in reply to Yatsuhiko
  • Yatsuhiko
So you just said that the life we have now is all we need? then why heaven? why hell? why an afterlife? (rhetorical questions)
If this life is all we need then religion is useless, unless its the buddhists and their reincarnation thing, then that applies somewhat.
Wither im wrong or right isn't the issue, but your using god as a scapegoat for problems you cant solve on your own.
Technically in christian or catholic terms, that's taking his name in vain. You technically 'sinned'.

I'm not against gays I'm against the destructive lifestyle. what does it do to help further mankind nothing because they cant reproduce. oh let me guess ahead of time theres to many people on earth as it is bull crap liberial lie to control peoples life and play GOD. Also the fool says in his heart there is no GOD. No evidence the proof is all around you its in the heaven the stars the we breath. trees mountains ect. all by chance? Your faith in nothing is greater than the faith you need 4 GOD.

I was going to go on about how it's apart of nature for some percentage of every species to be homosexual but you're one of those people who's mind is so diluted from reading an old vague inaccurate book that you pull the religion card for every possible solution.
At this point your so sucked into your own religion that you've gone insane. It's not logical or reasonable for me to argue with you because you say something about god as being the answer. At this point I do pity you.
     ·  in reply to LARRY RICKEY
  • LARRY RICKEY
You are the one to be pitied. If Your wrong about GOD what do you get? if I'm wrong which I know that I know that I know I'M not what do i get nothingness after death.
     ·  in reply to Yatsuhiko
  • Yatsuhiko
With all the evidence in the world that disproves religion and the little to no proof of religion, it feels like a very safe deduction.
Don't stress about what comes after. We cant know what happens. If you stress about the afterlife all the time then you cant enjoy the life you have. As long as you enjoy it legally and morally for the sake of the goodness morality brings you, and not in service of some deity.

since Finding GOD the one true GOD I havent stressed one day about after life. I know with every fiber of my being. And I have more inner joy Than anything in this world can give. everything in this world always leaves you empty inside and wanting more. there is never enough in this world.
     ·  in reply to Yatsuhiko
  • Yatsuhiko
You just said that this world is all you need. That your god gave it to us. Now your bashing what your god gave you. Someone is being a little hypocritical.

  • LARRY RICKEY
Read again I never said one time all I need is this world. I said everything in this world leaves you feeling empty and always wanting more nothing is ever enough here unless you have GOD. Its not religion that saves a person from their sin. you can not say there is no GOD. If thats what you think where did the earth, us, everything on it and the heavens and the stars come from? please explain so Im clear in your thinking. C

The Big Bang. Evolution. All that has. There are terabytes of data that explain how we came to be. When ever a religious person tries to explain, they say mr. g put the evidence there to challenge their faith. It's the easiest explication when you don't want to actually do any work with debating. But I'm a firm believer in evolution. It's not perfect but it holds far more water than the bible, a book written by power hungry men trying to manipulate the world in their favor.

something from nothing makes sence to me.
     ·  in reply to Yatsuhiko
  • Yatsuhiko
In the bible it says god made something from nothing. Hypocrisy?
The bing bang wasn't something from nothing. There was the universe before the Big Bang. As we advance in technology we discover more answers to the universe. Hundreds of years ago almost everyone believed in some form of god. But as technology advances and provides more answers that couldn't be answered before, less and less people believe in god. It's only a matter of time before religion becomes obsolete all together.

IM DONE TALKING ABOUT YOU ARE CLOSE MINDED TO A CREATER WISH YOU MERCY WHEN YOU MEET HIM. I,M SURE YOUR GOING TO HAVE A BIG SURPRISE WHEN YOU DIE AND MEET YOUR MAKER.
     ·  in reply to Yatsuhiko
  • Yatsuhiko
And there you have it. You got offended and insecure when I presented a logic you couldn't protest.
Instead of maturely saying "Well you do make some good points but I'm still going to go with my opinion." You resulted to throwing a fit like a child.
Case not closed due to lack of debate member not knowing how to maturely acknowledge a counter point. *sigh* tipical Internet...

  • LARRY RICKEY
I'm not offened at all. your points dont make sence you said the big bang, well where did the universe come from show me 1 thing that came from nothing and Ill beleave maybe there wasnt a creator. It's not even logical. we came from some where it didnt just pop into existance. just because you think you have the right answer dosent mean you do. think of your therory that all your faith is in.The chances of everything popping from nothing are about the same as a printing press blowing up and mak

I dont stress over the after life. I know as well as I know my name and with all thatis with in me where I'll be after death. And yhe joy one gets from living for GOD can't even compare to anything this world has to offer. I haven't been a christian my whole life I've lived in this world and lived to make myself happy but never found anything on this earth not sex, relationships, houses, cars nothing that brings the joy there is when you truely know him.Im not against gays Im not against anyone.
     ·  in reply to Yatsuhiko
  • Yatsuhiko
If you find joy in your religion then that's fine. I'm sensing that something happened in your life that made you turn to religion. I think that's usually a case of, not taking responsibility for one self and diluting ones mind with delusions in order to cope with whatever is wrong deep down, I call it the god pill effect. Like a placebo but the user became dependent on the pill. And if you really were not against homosexuals then you wouldn't be spreading anti gay messages all over the net.
