20240408 to 20240414 The Kansas City Vlog:  Boorish Slice of Life

20240408 Monday The Night Shift.  Happy eclipse day! After an uneventful night, we are live in KK at an elementary school. I go have a hot drink and a third space to wake up. I go to the HIV on Antioch to look for eclipse glasses because I heard there were a bunch of them there. Afterward, I have the “best breakfast in America“. Siah is home sick from school today. We watched the eclipse together.

20240409 Tuesday The Night Shift:  OK, CO, police officer was shot while doing a traffic stop. We are live at the east patrol headquarters for the Kansas City police department. The weather is turning really beautiful. I have coffee and tamales at Café Corazón.

20240410 Wednesday The Night Shift

20240411 Thursday The Night Shift:  the violence has to stop. At about the same time every night we’ve had violent acts which have taken peoples lives. This time, the person with a minor. We are live in Lee Summit. I am my shift by having town topic on Baltimore.

20240411 Jimmy is Getting Shot!

20240412 Friday The Night Shift:  I begin my live stream again, which I do every Friday. However, I’ve been slacking in that. This Friday I got noticed by the Kansas City regional emergency scanner channel person, and he gave me great props. I am very grateful for that channel for the service that they provide. I go to a fire where a family was turned out, but nobody was hurt. We are alive at arrowhead talking about soccer. I have coffee at Café Café. I note how beautiful the weather is.

20240412 Jimmy is Diabetic!  we have to make an emergency trip to Shoal Creek animal Hospital to get insulin for Jimmy. Turns out that Jimmy is diabetic. We have to give them two insulin shots a day at the same time every day and after he eats.
