20260321 The Kansas City Blog: Saturday

If there is anything that Stella’s sudden passing has taught us, it is that you need to do anything you plan to do now and not put it off. That sounds like a cliché, but it’s true.

So, we did a few errands, but we spent the rest of the afternoon kind of doing what we had planned to do a week ago, which was have our special anniversary dinner. However, illness and yucky weather made us postponed those plans. Unfortunately, we didn’t have Stella with us when we celebrated this because she left us yesterday

For some reason, these pictures loaded in backwards, but, oh well. This is where Stella left us on our front porch. She was peaceful, so we decided this was where she chose to leave us. So we have a little shrine started up for her.

After a big delicious dinner, we decided to start a little yardwork as our plants are dying of thirst.
Yum. We are satisfied.

We have our surviving dog with us.  We feel it is necessary because he is blind and he is really feeling depressed over losing his Stella yesterday And you plugged that thing in
